First three, and last one sound very Framework related, but I wonder about the others. I know hardware is often way too optimised for windows that Linux has to patch it in a way for Linux, such as your deep sleep issue. Hope it gets fixed.

I like Fedora but I need some AUR wine applications and shadowsocks to smooth things out in Mainland China (am expat). Fedora cannot offer all of these easily, I’m not too well trained in building packages (I know it’s simple lol)
I feel like this is the most human thing that was bound to happen.
Congratulations, but you’ll be hard pushed to get windows apps (especially enterprise ones) working. Will probably need to virtualise windows.
Huge amount of cheap resources, infrastructure and labour made factories in China flourish. Rapid industrialisation was key to this. Other Asian countries did not really benefit from a surge of industrialisation like China did, but India is close.
I recall that people were piling up and it was almost impossible to drag them out. Not just fire alarms, but ensure there are enough exits, and exits big enough for the number of people in the building. It’s something I gauge when I go into a concert venue for example.
Bring in some insight on your struggles! You using Arch on it?
This probably pops up in a few sci-fi books but Hyperion’s was by far the nastiest version of this + torture. What’s to stop big gov doing it?
A gamble between the anal cream you needed that month, and an expensive cookery set you saved for reference.
I like how you talk about contrast and then say the difference is day and night in the same paragraph.
Interesting, the series sounds like it’s really worth checking out.
That sounds a bit like Aryan fantasy but I’m not jumping to conclusions.
Really I’m not. Interesting concept but the pigmentation of the iris is like skin colour. It ultimately reveals a blue iris if removed.
So how do you go about closing virtual PRIVATE networks that are usually used in business and especially banking? Hmm. Bit of a big brainer isn’t it.
What’s even more hilarious is that my comment was reported and myself banned for ‘hate speech’. That’s when I knew Reddit is fucked and I’m never going back.
AI should be an add-on, not built in. Microsoft is constantly bulldozing their AI product into Windows. I always hated that.
Gnome is introducing embedded AI but that is an actual add-on despite the AI hate. So there’s nothing to hate about gnome giving features to the users who do want to embed AI.
Sometimes I was just being ironic or just joking. A few advertisements were being made over the grounded F-35 in India. I joked that its departure would be like the moon landings all over again and broadcasted similarly all over India.
They hated it. Thought I was being serious. Despite an edit to make it clearer, I still got the Reddit ban hammer.
I deleted my account the same day. A 15 year or more account.
It’s a lot to take in (I’m only looking at one of your questions) but I’ll start by saying I’ve always heard you install Linux after windows so that the Linux bootloader stays intact.
Also, you can’t brick your laptop like a phone. Something goes wrong, you reinstall and try again. Linux users also backup data because what are you to expect from a computer? To be flawless? Heh.
Yoga X1…fingerprint sensor doesn’t work but eh…love my gnome!
Well, the headline at least says it ‘could’.
