Side tangent: One of my favorite things about the plane Amonkhet in Magic the Gathering (a setting heavily inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology) is that the “sun” god is a giant humanoid with a cat head named Oketra, and I always read it in my head as “Oh, Cat Ra.”
My favorite is Khepri, which is just a guy with a massive scarab stuck to his face.
Egyptian: “what part of the scarab is the head?”
Other Egyptian: “Not sure, just put the whole thing where a human head would be.”
