Songs about werewolves or that definately apply to werewolfish experiences. Preferable upbeat pop/rock (not metal tho). Any suggestions are appreciated, thx!
Edit: Due to tonal drift, werewolf folk is also requested and ‘upbeat’ is not strictly required.
‘Where Are You Going’ by Carol Lipnik
Hey there little red riding hood. You sure are lookin’ good!
Metallica - of wolf and man
It’s hard rock but metal adjacent, maybe you won’t want it
Wolf Like Me by TV on the Radio
This one, but IMO Lera Lynn and Shovels and Rope did a cover of this song that I like better. It feels more intimate and personal.
I Was a Teenage Werewolf by The Cramps is great.
Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival was used for the transformation scene in An American Werewolf in London, so I always associate it with that.
Edit: I didn’t know the song Wolfman, but now it’s on my Halloween playlist. :)
“I’m the Wolf” - Howlin’ Wolf
Little Red Riding Hood, by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.
Still of the Night, by Whitesnake. Metal, but old school.
Monster Mash, by Bobby Pickett
Thriller, by Michael Jackson
- Credence Cleareater Revival - Bad Moon
- Goose - Silver Rising
- Phish - The Howling
- Grateful Dead - Dire Wolf
- Phish - Wolfman’s Brother
Big Bad Wolf - In This Moment Edit: shit, just saw that you don’t want metal. Leaving it, maybe someone else does 🤷
It’s appreciated anyway <3
Anything by Powerwolf really
Phish has a song Wolfman’s Brother that is pretty upbeat and the album version from Hoist is a very reasonable 4 and a half minutes.
Since TV on the Radio was suggested already I’ll put in Howling at the Moon by Phantogram
“Clap for the Wolfman” by the Guess Who maybe?
He gonna rate your record high.
Howlin’ At The Moon by Hank Williams
Radiohead - Wolf at the Door!
