I can’t even make the most explicit Gacha hating post without you guys saying how yours is the one, the special one that’s good.
I hate the concept. They are designed to obfuscate how much money and time you spend on them with different currencies that don’t feel like real money. They are dark pattern after dark pattern, trying to get you to look at the shop every time you boot up, and entice you with limited offers every chance they get. And this all is then defended by well meaning people like you and me with “Well, you can play for free if you grind hard”.
And when I look up if the different in-game currency thing applies to this game, I find out I have heard of Limbus company as the Korean one that got a “radical feminist” artist fired because a swimsuit didn’t reveal enough skin for the fanbase’s liking.

Also , for ur information, vellmori’s situation was dangerous at the time and they were a lot smaller as a company and the director was in japan at the time… yeah, she shouldn’t have gotten fired, esp since she didn’t even draw the swimsuit art, but it was for the best imo (she didn’t deserve to be in such an environment) Also, the “fanbase” u speak of was a VERY small portion of the players, and they went so far as to ENTER VELLMORI’S PLACE OF WORK,
Edit: I do genuinely hope she’s with a better employer, though. And don’t worry, I’m w u for hating gachas, esp hyv ones. Most of them r just carbon copies of each other, esp the open world ones, for limbus u don’t even gotta ‘grind’ that hard, just play the story whenever u want, get a shit ton of currency from it, pull on good units/walpurgis, and then win rate ur way through everything else lol (srsly, u can easily do whatever u want whilst the game plays itself in the background)
Edit 2: Thinking about it, firing her put the least people in danger… Those harrassers were awful and they definitely would have escalated their behaviour if the company refused to fire vellmori (and no, she couldn’t work undercover due to her art style being entirely different from the rest of the game’s one)
