Looks like a roadie for Bad Company or some shit. All he needs is a dirty bandana and a Skynyrd tshirt

Distrobox works really well in Bazzite, in fact I’m currently typing this comment in LibreWolf in a Fedora toolbox because I was getting a weird lag with the flatpak version. You wouldn’t even know if you didn’t set it up yourself, since it’s just an icon on my launcher like any other program. No noticeable overhead whatsoever either.
No one’s talking about Israel though,
Literally the comment I initially replied to:
Unless you’re part of their culture, Hasidic Jews are tough to get along with
I wasn’t just calling out one group. they were just the examples that came to mind. I think you’re lost in the sauce dude, go back and read what my actual point was.
Those rednecks are like that because they’ve got their own insular communities. It’s part of the same problem.
Specifically Israel: https://www.quora.com/Why-do-ultra-Orthodox-or-Haredi-Jewish-people-have-special-rights-in-Israel
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exemption_from_military_service_in_Israel
Though apparently the Israeli Supreme Court ruled against the ultra-Orthodox regarding the military service exemption in 2024 so maybe that’s not a thing anymore.
Hasids in the US don’t allow their women to interact with men. The Amish are exempt from many taxes in the US.
They are so insular that they are essentially small countries within a host country. It’s just not compatible with a free and open society imo.
Edit: One exemption I can think of is Native Reservations, since it’s their fucking land in the first place.
I guess I was thinking delivery since the OP was about shipping. With delivery apps, the full tip goes to the driver so I always tip well.
It’s gotten wayyyy better in that regard though. It’s more a matter of what people are used to and being resistant to change, than a lack of tech savvy-ness.

Using something like Warehouse and Flatsweep every now and then to clean things up can free up a shocking amount of space.

If you like Fedora and are looking for something gaming focused and stupidly stable, check out Bazzite. It’s based on Atomic Fedora
prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Linux@programming.dev•The Quiet Revolution: GNU/Linux Crosses 6% Desktop Market Share—And It’s Just the Beginning21·6 hours agoDoes Steam Deck not have rpm-ostree (or an arch equivalent since RPM is fedora-specific)?
Needs “pac-ostree” or something…
Also, what about distrobox?
I haven’t really tried to do anything package manager-related on my Deck, so I’m going on what I know from Bazzite, but there are several ways to install non-flatpak software on it. In fact, I even installed yay on an Arch distrobox, and I can install things from the AUR (as well as the official repositories).
Oh shit, I’ve never thought to do this… Would this work? Or are aliases only for commands?
Kind of different since the tip is going directly to the worker.
Yeah, we live in a broken society and our brains are constantly screaming at us about it.
Literally living in our society and taking advantage of our shared infrastructure
