It’s mostly passive tracking of network traffic. You data could be further compromised depending on the operating system you use and the threat model under which you operate.
I’m just a simple man, trying to make his way in the universe.

That’s just it, kid: you’re in one.
My point is to not make assumptions without sufficient data. Yes, we have an example of sentience. However, as we don’t understand sentience itself, it’s foolish to assume that we know where it can and can’t arise.
That’s awfully certain of you when the only example of sentience you have is based on carbon. Not to mention that concerning AI, we’re the ones directing the evolution.
How can you make such a blanket statement? We have no working theory of conciousness or sentience. All we have is the fact of our own sentience. If sentience can arise biologically of its own accord, what’s to stop sentience from emerging on silicon?
NASA can’t fool me. That’s a demon summoning if I’ve ever seen one.
Even better, some show examples of natural cellular automata!
The fediverse is still being monitored, though… Everything we comment and post here is freely available to anyone interested for any purpose.
Dude, intelligence can only be computational. For all intents and purposes, our brains are fancy Turing machines.
