2 days agoAs far as I know Mint and if things have not changed lately then Pop_OS as well has old kernel. Use distro with up to date kernel. For gaming a rolling release is usually a good option as the performance updates arrive early.

As salty as I am from earlier experiences with Nvidia the modern Nvidia cards do work just fine on Linux.


Because they actually care about security.


I’m quite sure no one would consider Chinese company as safe option for privacy and clearly security focused phone.
Also as Sony already has the Sailfish support the company is likely going to be Sony.


It’s not going to be a Chinese company.


There’s no such thing as ex-spy.


So the penalty was like pocket change to Google. Great job justice system.
That’s likely a kernel issue. Happened to me also like a year ago. After updating to the latest kernel I have not had any problems.
Could also be that the card is not staying in the pci-e slot or is sagging as I have seen this happen often with heavier cards. It causes black screen, instability and performance issues in general.
