I know multiple group chats of people who graduated fresh from college, not even 20% of them have jobs a year after grad. And this is spread across comp sci, cybersecurity, and mech eng.

The entry level job is dead. Every company thinks they can replace the menial shit that entry level workers do to learn with AI slop.

Depends on the type of bottle jack. It’s a broad term that can mean both the hydraulic kind and the mechanical screw driven kind, which used to be more common in older american cars (lots of fords had them).
Both do have the issue of getting under low cars, but they are safer and more stable than scissor jacks. Scissor jacks fold and crumple extremely easily if the load shifts perpendicular to the arm direction. Bottle jacks will tilt but not collapse until they fall over center.

I agree a hydraulic jack should not be kept as the emergency spare. When they sit the seals dry out and if they tip over they can empty all their hydraulic oil out into your trunk. Plus they are not safe to be under a vehicle with as hydraulics can fail and drop the vehicle without warning.

No offense to Jay, but he seems to be a bit bone headed more often than not with things he’s not familiar with and refuses to research or get outside help when he needs it.

He can make great hardware/watercooled builds and overclock really well, but any video outside that skill set is just… Painful.

also like 90% of the terrain is straight up mountain face and dense forest with like maybe 3 highways crossing the mountain range total. Access control is super easy.
