Because class war is about workers vs owning class, and the hyperfocus on billionaires specifically is a distraction from this dynamic, with the implication within the narrative being that other groups of business owners (small business or millionaires) are good or “lesser evil” which reinforces the system that class war is supposed to abolish.

Notice how often news media owned by large corporations and billionaires use the anti-billionaire rhetoric - it’s cause it is helpful to them.

It isn’t, fascism is a defense mechanism of capitalists when their system meets an existential crisis (eg worker militancy) and liberal democracy is no longer capable of maintaining class domination.

It isn’t a defining fascism feature of fascism, as it can apply to populism, dictatorships and whatever else that features great manning of leaders. Hell, even democrat candidates, given the “political culture” of US have cults of personality form around them.

It’s more of a critique of the “just do something” culture. Killing one farmer will just result in that farmer getting replaced with an identical cog in the machine, it also won’t magically inspire all the sheep to kill their oppressors as seen historically with humans - that kind of thing is only found within books.

Pretty much the only kind of effective action if the goal is to change things rather than merely feel good in the moment is organization, but it is a slow, tedious and dangerous process - it’s not something that can be achieved immediately or individually.

Then the sheep mounts a resistance by doing the best it can (killing the farmer or shouting very loudly), see that whatever it has done hasn’t changed anything and that nobody is joining or paying attention to it, and then it’s an express ticket to meatpacking plant or worse.

Nothing as fun, but just a heavy corruption scandal. The director of the school was apparently pocketing a lot of the money from school funding initiatives, and offloading a lot of the purchases that were supposed to be done onto the last year students. I remember our class being chosen to buy new furniture for an entire classroom in the name of “giving something back”.

When Capitalism was being theorized, a guy name Sonic Smith had discovered that over time as more money is minted, it loses value, and thus inflation. Thus, when it came time to implement capitalism, it became the 34th rule of capital that was defined.

Right isn’t as unified as you might think. There’s plenty of right on right violence, especially when a channel that operates under the veneer of enlightenment or “smarts” does something that goes against it, like recent JP Jubilee appearance.

Left is also a very wide umbrella, not some team, so when someone is being idiotic, giving flack and “infighting” is good.

ML’s on lemmy are predominantly of the “deprogram” variety (in reference to the deprogram podcast and r/thedeprogram being quite large on reddit), and generally they’re a laughing stock given the narratives they parrot that are so de-attached from the material reality and their various mannerisms when it comes to arguing. One of the larger narratives is that the west and western imperialism is horrible (which is true), and that whoever is opposed to it must be a force for good or something, which manifests as uncritical support for China, Russia, Iran even though they’re both imperialist bourgeoisie states too.

I see some people claim that they’re some paid Russian shills, which is wrong. They do it for free, with a genuine belief because that’s what their community says and does.
