I think the only native English speaking country in South America. The culture is more like Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and is considered carribean. Most of the country is jungle and the people live on the coast. The ocean water is murky, because the Amazon dumps a lot of sediments on the coast.

The beaches are not great. It does have the deepest part of the Amazon, so there are great tours to the jungle and savanah.

My parents had a JVC setup. Dual cassette deck with the click buttons like a VCR, a separate tuner, turntable and a CD player.
