I’d imagine it would be similar today. A purse full of maps, important phone numbers in my head, Skype on my computer to talk with my family and friends.

In the early days, I would go to the library to use the computer and Internet.

Yeah I’ve taken ubuntu and themed it like Windows XP for people. The only problem that came up was when one of them wanted to use their 1990s GPS software. I showed them google maps on their phone and they were thrilled.

Honestly that’s not much better. I shouldn’t be expected to reboot my computer to play a game.
