If pointing out things I find mildly amusing - with qualifiers, even - is “shitty,” we live in a pretty fucking sterile and boring world.

Ahh got it. Kind of figured at had to be more complex than it looked at first glance, and another commenter pointed out that it’s a solo dev as well. Thanks for the extra context!
The “After 6 years of early access… Version 1.0!” text displaying over what appears to be a pixel shooter is extremely funny to me for some reason.
I get that games take time regardless of art style, still seems an odd point to hype.
I do actually! Was traveling last week and almost forgot.
Shooting with it is bonkers lol. There’s no focus ring so all you can control is the shutter speed. Everything just looks ethereal and weird. Fun to play with though.
Kind of a catch-all term for a flat prime lens, usually used for some kind of effect.
This one’s an old recycled pocket disposable camera lens someone 3d printed and mounted, so all the shots look like this. There’s no focus ring, hence the blue and retro lo-fi quality.
Oh man😂
FH5 was fun at first but agreed, the unending FOMO event system just kind of sucked the joy out of it awhile. Just let people play the game.
More importantly, though, just fuck the whole XBox/Microsoft gaming system in general. I was dumb enough to FH5 through the Microsoft store back when I had Windows, so I can’t install it on Linux.
And even if you buy it on another platform like Steam and sign in with the same account, it considers a “separate purchase/subscription” so none of your dlc or cars carry over. Just anti-consumer as fuck.
…hat-based?
Is that literal?
Yeah I’m pretty sure for $70 a functional engine should be the bare minimum.
What a fucking chode.
Thank you!
Thank you! I call that the PatchPorn shot
Thank you! They’re the best band in the world
Thanks! The hardest part is picking out the good ones
Thank you! Hands down the best festival I’ve ever been to. Highly, highly recommend giving it a shot next year, you won’t regret it.
Oh cool, that’s a pretty ambitious concept. The idea of an open sim world where you can do pretty much whatever you want sounds awesome. Rimworld was very much not for me, though, as much as I wanted to like it; playwise it never clicked for whatever reason. Probably why this one whooshed me.
