Hey, that’s fair! Not everything speaks to everyone. World would be terribly boring if it did.

Its why so much of the Game of Thrones fandom (and original creator…) clearly don’t have much production experience. Yes, it would have been cool to have arcs like Lady Stoneheart. But the chances of Michelle Fairley being interested in coming back four years later for two episodes is nigh zero AND would have given her way more negotiating power than studios want. Same for all the other one off characters who come back two books later.

I always wondered how they planned to pull that off with the Wheel of Time show. I know it’s a moot point now, but there’s a big one that left and came back way later. There are also some smaller examples, but I feel like with the bit parts you could probably get someone that looks similar enough.

With the exception of the words “somewhat overrated”, I agree with this 100%. I have probably ~1000 hours in bg3 and just shy of 100 in expedition 33.

I wish I could play Expedition 33 for the first time again. It’s amazing. And it is very much a work of art.

With BG3 I can play it for the first time again by making different choices, adding mods, and choosing different classes. It’s a very fun video game with a lot of choices.

I’d highly recommend both. If someone is searching to fill between 40 and 100 hours (I like side quests, ok?) then Expedition 33 is absolutely amazing. If someone were looking to spend a couple of years before they have the money for another game then I can absolutely recommend BG3.

I didn’t even know these sorts of mini racks existed. now I’m going to have to get one for all my half sized preamps if they’ll fit. That would solve like half the problems with my studio room and may help bring back some of my spark for making music.

Willie, Waylon, Cash, Jones, Carlisle, Parton, Mandrell, Rondstadt, and Lucinda Williams are national treasures. Nebraska is one of the best albums ever released.

On the newer side, you have folks like Childers, Amigo the Devil, Whiskey Myers, Jason Isbell, Drive By Truckers, and a bunch of others who are out there doing amazing work.

But if someone wants to enjoy Toby Keith, Florida Georgia Line, Zach Brown, Garth Brooks, or Shania Twain that’s their business. That don’t befront me long as I get my money next Friday.

I’m a big proponent of letting people do whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn’t involve someone who isn’t consenting. Gay sex? Cool. Well done steak? Sure. Country music? If that’s what you’re into.

For really good cuts I’m a rare guy. But the way you eat your steak has absolutely no effect on my enjoyment of my steak.

It is exhausting. I’ve been in a relationship where my partner had no one but me. I don’t consider myself super outgoing but I have plenty of friends that I enjoy spending time with. I like playing music on the weekends. I like going to do things, sometimes last minute. I got fat and depressed because she just wanted to sit at home and for me to sit home with her.

It soured me on relationships for a bit. The next one was the opposite. She wanted to be out every night and didn’t understand I had to work. She never ever wanted to just hang at the house. It was also exhausting.

I’m open to a relationship if the person has similar patterns or doesn’t want me next to them 24/7. I can handle if they’re an independent person, but currently everything feels like either far too much or far too little so I’ve been doing my own thing for a while. I’ve got someone that I’m casual with. It’s perfect for now.

I don’t know if it would work, but I’d definitely show up for it.

So to appeal to a younger generation they made a minimalist logo and are removing any trace of personality? I mean, their personality wasn’t my thing (haven’t been in many, many years) but I have no idea why they couldn’t try new personality instead of no personality.

Alternatively, have they tried making their food good? That might work.
