There are more in this series… They are used in Denmark FYI. This one is for hospitals so the cleaning lady does not plug the vacume cleaner into the same power lines as the life saving critical equipment but its compatible in the other direction if needed. The one you posted is the same idea but for IT equipment. EDB is the Danish equivalent to IT

  • I’ve literally used Linux for over 5 years without ever noticing middle click did anything unusual until a colleagues showed me he could magically paste things with the mouse and I had to ask how he did it. Now I use it frequently and love the feature. I just don’t understand how you “keep accidentally paste stuff all over” when I’ve never heard any of my Linux friends and colleges ever mention anything about it and like me they were supprised and happy when I showed them the feature as well.

  • Had the only printer in my dorm room of about 70 rooms and charged just slightly less than the university did per page so naturally people printed with my printer. Made some scripts that hooked into google cloud print to log users and had spreadsheet to track funds for users and send emails about what was printed and how much funds they had left. I made mony only because people forgot they had extra funds when they moved out and never asked to get it back. Its not a lot but stil strange to me why I put so much effort into a very low profit business.

Dirty build plate. Greasy spots causes the filament to not stick. Use a spray of soapy water and a microfibre cloth to clean it. Just water and dish soap works amazing for degreasing. No need to use isopropyl alcohol. Nozzle height looks okay on the front left I think. Maybe a tad too close, but shouldn’t be a problem. On the back it’s way too high. Make sure your bed leveling is a bit better

  • Not open source but freeware and really simple and powerful. Absolutely no BS program and it just gets right to the business.

    https://www.faststone.org/

I’ve used it for years on Windows. I wish there was a similar program for Linux thats just freaking works.

Forgot to mention that it is stupid farst since it preloads images into memory so it can display images instantly hence the name. Perfect for browsing network shares. I only used the faststone image viewer, so not sure how the other programs work but I’m sure they are great too.

  • Those dht11 sensors are garbage tho. Best case they are wildly off on their humidity sensor. Worst case they keep breaking and shows nonsense readings. I would recommend bme280 sensor instead. If you read about them you might see people complain that they are reading too high temperatures, but in my experience its because they are misconfigured. Default settings have a very high sampling rate of multiple samples per second that heats up the sensor a tiny bit giving you the offset. Lowering the sampling rate or turn the sensor off completely in between readings gives really precise measurements on both temperatures and humidity.
