“Palantir and the like can intercept data in transit and data at rest at the endpoints, so we don’t need data at rest on the consumer devices anyway.”
It’s time to abandon the internet and build a new one from scratch.
I ask myself the same thing.
Fortunately, these days, if you know your diopter and pupillary distance, you can go online to places like Zenni and just order them. That’s nice - I haven’t had to get my prescription re-checked in years (it never changes).
Tried it, didn’t like it.
Cigarettes are gross, and alcohol leaves me with a headache and upset stomach.
Similar experience.
I refused to do homework during high school. I passed by simply reading the book in class and always acing my tests with 100s.
Barely graduating high school didn’t matter for my local college, because I fucking crushed my SAT.
I dropped out of college.
Thank you for the kind words
They really don’t know Jesus, at all.
(I’m not religious, but I can read.)
Like, Jesus had only one major commandment: Love Thy Neighbor.
And Jesus did not command his followers to worship him. He commanded his followers to follow him by emulating him - the man who broke bread with harlots and tax collectors.
Jesus didn’t command his followers to love their religion, or to love him; he command them to love their neighbors.
Love Thy Neighbor applies even if thy neighbor is brown, poor, queer, lazy, radical, immigrant, or crazy, or whatever.
One is commanded to feed the poor, house the traveler, and tend to the sick.
Look, I don’t purport to be a Christian, because I know I don’t love all my neighbors. I fall faaaar short of all that. Sometimes I want to kick my neighbors in the dick. Nor do I believe in universal forgiveness or turning the other cheek. Nor am I very personally charitable. I do not ever house travelers nor feed the poor all that often. I do not live up to the Jesus standard, not even close.
But I don’t preach at people about how to “live like Jesus,” either.
Hypocrisy I cannot tolerate. And evangelicals are the worse. Read your own holy book, dipshits!
Nobody should be living on Spider Island.
Pour Mountain Dew through a fresh Brita filter and watch what happens.
Oh, I thought it was a Linux phone for some reason.
Is it a good daily driver for normies? Can you run banking apps, for example?
Younger GenX are basically Millenials (but cooler and less uptight), and older GenX are basically Boomers (but nastier and louder).
