Anecdotally speaking, I walk around town for exercise and I’ve crossed paths with a disproportionate number of Pit bulls/Pit mixes and the only dog to ever bite me while I was out was a goddamn Bichon Frisé.
"Despite the colloquial use of the term “pit bull” to encompass a whole category of dogs and the legal use of the term to include several breeds in legislation, some conservative professional breeders of the American Pit Bull Terrier as well as some experts and supporters claim that historically the APBT is the only true “pit bull” and the only breed that should be denominated as such
The categorical legal definition is what I’m referencing

I could speculate to a few things, though. He’s not a Socialist. When the going got tough for him and his business he uprooted and moved out of NYC to Texas. I can’t really think of anything else objectionable. I actually like him, though so I may be biased.
For the positives, he’s helped drive a lot of the Right to Repair legislation in this country as he’s reported a lot of discussions he’s had with real legislators. He runs a website for mac product repair as a reference that also operates as a non-profit. He runs a daytime business repairing mac products that employs several other people. Generally he posts a lot to keep people up to date increasingly as an electronics-oriented influencer, but he used to post mac repair videos almost exclusively and he talked about having to navigate Apple’s influence on regulating the second-hand market. He has also given platform to a number of other mac & electronic repair people.
To me he seems to talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk when it comes to Right to Repair, but like I said, I might be biased.

It might as well remain the 4chan site. I don’t think they can be gotten rid of or dispersed.
Pitbull is not a breed. It’s just another term for mutt used to describe mixed breeds of dogs that were once used for animal fighting. So a Pitbull/Boxer mix could be 87.5% boxer and 1/8 English Bulldog for all anyone knows.

I tore off 5 out of the 14 traces trying to desolder that one component.

somebody in another post a few days ago suggested that this was about gaining control of the media narrative by gradually locking down parts of the internet. The idea being that today it’s adult content but tomorrow its about disagreeable narratives on YouTube, TikTok, and other secondary sources of Information.
-I’d think it were a stretch of the imagination but it was shown that the motives for trying to ban TikTok (in the U.S.) were the narratives shared on the platform about Israel’s ongoing genocide.

Not wrong. just concerned with the relevant, consequential definition. I simply don’t care about what you’re advocating if you’re not advocating for legal regulation and that’s when the legal definition matters.
