To expand on this, people tend to think “how could a person do something like this to another person”. We become curious about the mystery of events and/or circumstances that drive people to commit such acts.

I’ve been in this situation where the flight attendants identified and notified the people with tight connections and made the announcement that certain passengers would be let off the plane first. Practically needed to be at the front of the plane when it stopped at the gate.

This was a Delta flight connecting in Atlanta.

Then there’s the little quirks that make you wonder how they’re considered a tech giant at all. Example: I travel semi frequently and will work my usual hours in different timezones. Teams makes you restart the app on MacOS just to change fucking timezones.

The excessive flashbacks were what got to me. If any movie could expect that fans would’ve watched the first movie 50+ times and be able to quote most of it, I think Happy Gilmore would be on that list.

This is very similar to whatever beef I have with Sean Penn.

Bonus detail that didn’t amount to much: one of the plans to rescue the hostages involved developing a rocket assisted takeoff and landing system for a military cargo plane to get a team on the ground to extract the hostages and exfiltrate via said plane using a soccer stadium as an airstrip.

Edit: jet and rocket could be used interchangeably but rocket is more accurate in this case.
