Also the communication is great. I would say maybe even the best of all distros. They do a report like this every week regrading software updates and what is happening around Solus: https://discuss.getsol.us/d/12033-solus-update-post-for-week-42-2025

Not at all. This distro works really well for some time now. I mean the people around it changed and they changed the organisation structure, not depending on one person like it was before. If you are interested here is what has changed in 2023 to not be in same situation again: https://getsol.us/2023/04/18/a-new-voyage/

3·1 month agoI meant using AI for example for refactoring purposes or giving it some small tasks or questions. Not building whole projects with AI, because it is unmaintainable.

1331·1 month agoI don’t understand why there is such a drama around using AI while developing. Everyone I know does that. Of course it doesn’t mean that I copy-paste the code from ChatGPT. But at the same time it is often useful and faster than Googling on Stack-Overflow… Someone even said there that developers using AI will have legal problems in future… I really don’t think so, because it is the AI provider responsibility to train it on data provided freely for this purpose. I’m against stealing data and brainslessly using AI, but at the same time the AI is here and you can’t ignore it.

When I remember I played native Linux version of Rocket League… 😿
