I found Cortana to be actually useful and way better than it’s contemporaries, so of course they killed it instantly 🤣

I mean the Yahweh cult and it’s different sects (Christianity, Judaism, Islam etc.) comes from an ancient middle-eastern religion. It’s also the deadliest and most violent cult/ideology in the history of mankind. Wearing a cross, star or moon is pretty much the same thing as wearing a swastika, except maybe worse.

I think they’ve been on the ball with spelling reforms as the language has evolved. The last one as recently as in 1996. English has no central authority for spelling, making such reforms much harder to implement. Conservatives are of course, like always, a problem. Being against any and all spelling reform. The main argument seem to be that it makes it harder for people to read really old texts in their original form. Which for some reason makes spelling and speach drifting apart worth it. I known Swedish conservative pseudo-intellectuals often praise the English for it’s lack of reform.

The German language is ironically one of the weirder Germanic languages. When I say North Germanic languages I mostly mean what is now known as Scandinavian languages (and sometimes Dutch depending on who you ask).

Why listen to a Russian asset? The U.S got played even worse than the U.K
The most important lesson I think European countries can learn from this is that promoting national exceptionalism makes your population vulnerable.

That’s just every language once you get into it. English is a fairly standard north germanic language. There’s been a lot of mythology built around it over the years which often leads to misunderstandings, especially from monolinguals who simply have nothing to compare to.

I recently got myself an Ankarsrum kitchen assistant with the accessories for mixing, juicing, shredding, slicing, grinding etc. I don’t do much baking but I figured I’d have one 1500W beast of an electric motor doing all the things instead of several smaller, weaker ones. It’s surprisingly quiet too. Made in Sweden with a 7 year warranty is a big plus for me.

I’ve always been curious if this is a poor infrastructure country thing or obease person thing. I’ve never in my life experienced it, no one I know have said it happened to them. I’ve only seen it happen in american movies or seen people talking about it online.
Also, never owned a plunger, don’t know anyone who does.
Can someone enlighten me on this?

I think it’s neat. It has tons guides and plugins to do pretty much anything. Other solutions can be lacking in documentation. One big plus is the way you can just throw in whatever drives you’ve got laying around and not have to worry about them matching or anything. Is it the best performing? Probably not but it doesn’t need to be. For me it just hosts files and a bunch of fairly lightweight services.
Was about to say. Looks like a silicon ladle with plastic handle. Just like my favourite ladle. Excellent for getting every last drop out of the pan, handles heat up to 250°C and is dishwasher safe!
It happens to old people. Their cognitive abilities as well as their mental health fail over time. They have a harder time empathising with others and become more susceptible to misinformation. It can be hard to detect since many people at that age have fallen into a routine, pretty much living in auto mode, doing what they’ve always done. If you poke at that routine though…

If you moved back, you would have become a bald twitch streamer.

There are probably more food options than most U.S cities, just not the same ones.

Went with Bazzite for my main gaming rig almost a year ago. Really good all-round distro imo. Haven’t had an issue yet. NixOS for my other machines because it’s cool and I can have them fit for many purposes by just switching a single config file.

Step 1: Ditch Microsoft

My guess is electric stoves up until induction had terrible heat control which non-stick is more forgiving to use with than cast iron or stainless steel. Also ease of use. Don’t really need to learn anything to make an omelette in a non-stick.

Cast iron and stainless steel for stuff that would fuck with the cast iron seasoning (acidic or high heat stuff). Stainless steel can be a bit tricky to get used to, but once you do, it’s trivial.

Skadeglad, if they want something easier to pronounce for an English speaker. But tbh I don’t know if these kinds of compound words should count at all.

At this point they’re better off as sushi and donated to research. They can’t be released into nature and even if they found a new “home”, it would just be another Marineland ran by worthless shitheads like the last one.
Capitalism is about ownership more than anything else. Capitalism states that the means of production is private property and to be used for the purpose of obtaining profit. As long as there is profit, supply and demand can go fuck itself along with the workers (those who produce). It really is a stupid system that can never be fully implemented (every economy is a mixed economy for a reason) since it naturally creates perverse incentive.
