My whole-ass PC got a huge performance increase going from W10 to Arch (SteamOS), and that’s even with using Proton/Wine.

There’s a specific version of proton to use for RDR2. I believe it’s Hotfix. Do a search for getting it to run on Steam Deck, because I recall there may have been a command line argument to add to get it to run.

Set proton to Experimental.

Set this as the launch options:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=vulkan-1=n,b %command%

Views always go down in summer. This is a regular trend. Less people watching YouTube, more people going out and doing stuff.

It depends on what daemons you have installed.

I found Linux Mint Cinnamon edition to be an incredibly easy transition. Just make sure you disable secure boot and use the drive format that the installer recommends.
