5·2 days agoIt is the superior choice, doesn’t have ads, doesn’t try to sell you shit, it never updates without your permission, it doesn’t spy on you, it doesn’t sell your data, it is the superior choice, and penguins be cute.

1·3 days agoI’m just learning about all this stuff but yeah, I’ll definitely take a look at Arch, although just out of curiosity, since I am overall satisfied with Debian.

61·3 days agoYep, that’s exactly what I care about and one of the reasons I ditched Ubuntu. I guess I’ll look into OpenSUSE as a potential alternative if I feel like distro-hopping in the future (although I know even less of its relationship with SUSE).

I think the other way around: I read black letters on white paper when I read a book; why shouldn’t it be the same on a screen? I find the black background more fatiguing for the eyes.
