my lenses are like a plastic kinda material, but they also aren’t very strong. maybe glass lenses are, and that’s why they’re used? perhaps i’ll find out when i go back to the eye doctor (i need stronger lenses :[ )
Glass doesn’t scratch as easily, and it has a different refractive index so a stronger prescription might be thinner in glass…
They area lot heavier though.
Very realistic. If the glasses get hit, the shards go into your eyes.
I nearly lost an eye when I fell over once, and it didn’t even break into shards…
People still make glasses out of glass?

No, plastic lenses are less fragile than glass.
sorry, i did not mean “strong” as in physical strength. i meant perscription strength
Plastic is capable of stronger prescription strength in a thinner lens than glass.
ah, i see*, i am entirely wrong.
*no, i can’t really
It really is that simple
