Did I just bricked my laptop? I reinstalled ubuntu but after rebooting it would fall into bootloop with a “reset system” message. In the tutorial I read that sometimes it helps to enable secure boot, well I did that but now I can’t get into BIOS/UEFI at all. Laptop: lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon 3rd Anyone could help somehow?

Looks like there’s a coin cell battery in there, so you can remove it to reset the CMOS. I’m not sure how relevant this video is to your exact model, but I’m sure you can figure it out using this as a base if you’re comfortable working on computers generally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=secIrlXFy5k
