    The byelection was called in June after Kurek, who won the seat again in the April general election with 83 per cent of votes, stepped down to allow Poilievre to run.

    So realistically, 83% is the watermark to beat, as that’s how many voted for the guy who stepped down to let him run.

    I have very little faith in this buttfuck redneck rural AB riding. They will pucker up and fluff PP - even betraying one of their own (Critchely) in order to suck off Polievre. Hugely disappointing. And pathetic.

    This will be a write-in ballot. If there were several names on the ballot that were similar to “Pierre Polievre”, things could have gotten very interesting indeed. I wonder what happens if they just write down his first or second name not the entire name? And does spelling count?
