    Why is it a sin to mute the video and play a different musical backing track? Why does everybody insist I pay attention to dialogue?

      Because the dialogue is often an integral part of the experience and by wholly denying yourself paying attention to one of it you’re both denying the artists original vision as well as denying yourself the true experience.

      But that’s just me

        But why not deny myself the true experience, if the true experience is not something I enjoy?

        Do you feel the same way about game mods? Fanfic?
