A great trail for getting the heart rate up, it takes a steep but manageable track along switchbacks to get to its one main viewpoint at Chestnut Knob. Views from here are expansive and show the foothills trailing off into the Piedmont area of NC. Loop route could be done as overnight with sawtooth camp up top.
