This lengthy Final Fantasy III roundtable interview originally appeared in the FFIII Official Complete Guidebook in 2006.
I remember finish the original FFIII on a NES emulator on my old java phone.
Years later i finished the Remake on my PSP (still missing my old PSP until today), it’s my second favorite game on the franchise, losing only to FFV (yeah, the job system is my favorite mechanic on the franchise)
Have you tried Bravely Default?
Its a spinoff of a spinoff of Final Fantasy that uses the same job system mechanic
I feel like BD is kind of an unsung modern classic. It’s very dear to my heart.
Yeah, i had a 3DS also
The DS remake of FF3 was my first Final Fantasy game, and I remember loving it. The chibi artstyle was really appealing to me at the time. I’m pretty sure I managed to cheese one of the late game bosses by using a certain class (ninja?) that got me a lucky 9999 damage hit. After that point I was severely under levelled, and got stuck at the final dungeon with no way to back out.
I should replay it at some point! Or maybe the pixel remaster version (people seem to rate that higher?)
This was also my first final fantasy and I really loved the art style as well!
