I’ve been living in South Korea for 4 years, but in the city.
Therefore we decided to spent time in very rural areas which to be honest are kind of dying here in Korea. Many shops and tourist attractions are closed.
But it’s amazing to be so close to nature.
Where you ever at the north-korean border? Does everyone just ignore the NK threat on a day to day basis, by artillery for example, to the capital?
Yes pretty much, you just live with it and hope it never happens to a degree that you just forget about it on a day to day basis. And then you see the gas masks in the subway and wonder what those would be for.
