    I know, it’s very annoying. Always got culture shock when I came back to the States and had to pay more than the listed price.

    The reasoning is because every county can have different taxes, so it varies a lot from place to place, but I think that’s a lame excuse. The place it’s being sold knows exactly how much the tax will be, so they could post the correct amount!

      That never made sense to me, either. You can calculate how much it’ll be after tax automatically. I guess making the customer feel like they’re paying less is more important than being upfront about prices.
